Bobby wants to change the world, its just that his entire world right now is his family. I think hes always had the same goal: change the world. Its his definition of the world thats changed for now. One day, his world will include ours again, and he will come back to give us what he has to offer. Some people have this COMPULSION towards gratuity and helping others, and I think Logic is that type based on listening to his music. The line about "manic depressive" in this song makes me theorize Bobby might not have a great self-image. My highs are really high lately and lows are really low, and with all the self-deprecation that my brain fights with me about, I often go looking for gratuity in place of having a confident self-image. Because it feels inherently impossible to think highly of yourself when your brain is constantly lying to you and self-deprecating. My guess is that Bobby isn't an attention seeker, but a gratuity seeker. Someone who helps others because the feeling of gratuity is better than money, and even sometimes better than the feeling of self-accomplishment, which is pretty high up there. Because often times forms of gratuity stem from something you've worked and accomplished previously that another person has not, hence why they could use the help. So you're proud of your self-accomplishment to be ABLE to help someone, and then genuinely enjoying the gratuity that comes from that person by helping them out. I spin that Under Pressure Vinyl all the time by myself in the mornings. The deluxe edition is perfect to look at in my 10x10ft room. (Lol I sound like im bragging like the Beverly Hills "Knowledge" guy) Anyways, I loved this album and it was a truly sublime experience listening to the release on Twitch with everybody. Having logic give us the directors cut in real time, and the emotion behind the stuff that he was authentically saying in the moment. If anyone has watched the original Twilight Zone episodes, this is how I'd sum up Bobby, his album release, and his situation: "Mr. Jesse Cardiff who became a legend by beating one, but who has found out after his funeral that being the best of anything carries with it a special obligation to keep on proving it. -Mr. Fats Brown- Sir Robert Bryson Hall II, on the other hand, having relinquished the champion's mantle, has gone fishing. These are the ground rules in the Twilight Zone" -Rod Sterling (kinda)

I remember listening to Logic back in '14, thinking he just wanted to be Eminem. Now I listen to this, now, and Logic's got a family that loves him, he's staying true to himself, and he's leaving the rap game ahead. I can't help but think he's where Eminem wants to be.

Love this song. They hate him because he’s not like them. He’s not rapping about drugs and killing people and people can’t stand it

achraf azzaoui I shouldn’t say nobody knew who he was but why would he rap about that lifestyle when he wasn’t living in it at that point in his career

Nobody knew who he was then. Since he’s been mainstream he hasn’t put out music like that because that’s not him. Found him watching faze back in the day don’t be assuming dude
